Who is Per4mance?


Hi, I’m Gaz Richards and Per4mance Coaching is my service forged through years of experience in the fitness, Personal Training and sports industry.

The fitness industry is a complex network of fads, misinformation and dangerous diet plans, many of which I have had the misfortune of trying.

Having crossed the fitness minefield, I went on to source evidence-based training methods through a degree in strength and conditioning.   

I aim to empower my clients with knowledge, not just make them dependent on fitness apps and bullshit celebrity-endorsed products.

Per4mance Coaching isn’t just about training professional athletes, everybody has their own personal goals and everyone of those goals, no matter how big or small, needs a plan.

Whether it’s achieving a Summer body, getting stronger or losing weight, it’s important to follow a periodised plan in order to account for your progress and not lose sight of your goal.

The fastest route to a destination is in a straight line. It’s easy to generally train or go to the gym, yes you will notice some physiological differences in your body because you simply weren't doing that before but optimising that training is a route directly towards your goal.  

All of my clients undergo the same testing procedures, it’s not a case of guessing with someone new to the gym and pulling out all the state of the art training equipment for the athletes. Everyone is tested, retested and goals are smashed. 

Of course, everyone’s situation is different. Athletes may have circumstances that allow them to train more than others, casual gym-goers may only have a small window for their training and some people may need to utilise a home workout routine.

Per4mance Coaching does everything to get to know you, your circumstances, and your schedule and provides bespoke training programs designed to suit you.
